Mount Greylock senior captain Tessa Leveque rears back to fire a shot against Lynnfield.

WILLIAMSTOWN — Things were going according to plan until visiting Lynnfield provided some resistance midway through the first half.

“This team likes to keep it interesting. These girls are resilient, they have a lot of character and they know when to fight back,” said Mount Greylock girls lacrosse coach Jeff Stripp after his Mounties beat Lynnfield 20-8 on Wednesday.
