players exit field

Center fielder Chase Doyle, left, is congratulated by his Mount Greylock teammates after throwing a runner out at home plate during Wednesday's Final Four win over Georgetown.

There are a number of trophies in the Mount Greylock High School trophy case. The Mounties will have the chance to add a brand new one this weekend.

Greylock will play for its first-ever MIAA baseball championship, as the third-seeded Mounties survived the inaugural state tournament to play top-seeded Hopedale and claim the baseball trophy.
