At the last Berkshire County League of Sportsmen’s meeting, DFW Western District Supervisor Andrew Madden reported that MassWildlife will stock nearly 500,000 brook, brown, rainbow and tiger trout across Massachusetts this year — nearly 470,000 will be stocked during the early spring. The Western District waters should receive approximately 20 percent of the allotted fish.
