Pittsfield lacrosse coach Scott Aitken retires after 30 years growing the sport and local youths

Pittsfield boys lacrosse coach Scott Aitken congratulates one of his players following a home game this season.

Lacrosse would have worked its way into Pittsfield no matter what. But, there may have been no one individual who has done more to push forward the sports in the city than Scott Aitken.

After 30 years as a lacrosse coach, Aitken has coached his final game in Pittsfield.
