GREAT BARRINGTON — Cooper Rothvoss shot a 44 to earn medalist honors and the Mount Everett golf team notched its first win of 2020 with a 186-191 win over Lee on Thursday.

Playing at Wyantenuck Country Club, all four Eagles whose scores counted shot under 50, and were all within five strokes of each other. Only three of Lee’s golfers shot under 50, and that was the difference.

Rothvoss outdueled Lee’s Lucas Bombardier and the Eagles’ Kolby Bleau for medalist honors. Bombardier, who birdied the par-4 first hole, and Bleau each shot 46.
