In what was a learning experience for many, the Pittsfield Suns lose their 2022 finale

PITTSFIELD — The night might not have gone as well as Izaiya Mestre might have hoped. Then again, that’s kind of how the Pittsfield Suns’ 2022 finale — and the entire season went.

Mestre, making his final appearance on the mound at Wahconah Park, scuffled through 4 2/3 innings, but managed to get a no-decision against Norwich Sunday.
