Wahconah clips the Easthampton offense, advances to Western Mass. Class B Softball Final

Wahconah softball bench

The Wahconah dugout cheers on its teammates during the sixth inning of the Warriors 9-1 win over Easthampton in the Western Mass Class B semifinals.

DALTON — It was a pitcher’s duel until it wasn’t. For the first three and a half innings Avery Vale-Cruz and Rosie Follet shut things down.

On the first at-bat of the night, Vale-Cruz gave up a single to Abigail McClaflin. She then proceeded to strike out the next three Easthampton batters.
