Wahconah races past Pope Francis; claims Western Mass. Class B title

PITTSFIELD — No matter what Pope Francis did, the Warriors couldn’t be stopped. The Wahconah boys lacrosse team claimed the PVIAC Western Mass. Class B Championship, beating Pope Francis by a score of 20-8 at Berkshire Community College.

The game started back-and-forth, with Billy O’Neill drawing first blood for the Warriors.
