The Greeting

Good morning, Berkshire County. Man-cold report, Day 4, 10:29 a.m.

I'm feeling a little better, but it's moved into my chest, just like Calvin does to Ryan Reynolds in the space thriller "Life." You can probably find the scene on YouTube.

Up in the North County, a building is on the move, the former Doctors Building, heading to its new home at the Harriman and West Airport in North Adams.

And, if you have an  emergency but can't make a voice call, you're in luck, because Text to 911 is now live across the state.

A Pittsfield man, already facing a rape charge, allegedly assaults another woman twice

Read on, and enjoy these other headlines ...

FIRMING UP GOD'S HOUSE: An architectural firm that specializes in African-American structures will handle the rehab of the Clinton Church Restoration project in Great Barrington.

DISPLACED RESIDENTS: A fire in Pittsfield forces three from their home on Cherry Street.

THERE'S A STORM BREWING: Eagle weather maven Clarence Fanto is getting excited, and that can mean only one thing: bad weather is on its way.

When public officials aren't held to account, it can be like a kid with their parents' credit card. Thankfully, we're here to make sure that doesn't happen. Don't starve the watchdog. Subscribe today.

Very best,
