3 escape Pittsfield house fire


PITTSFIELD — No one was injured in a house fire late Wednesday at 71 Toronita Ave.

The fire was reported around 8:25 p.m. at the two-story home, according to the Pittsfield Fire Department. The damage was contained to the rear of the second story. Three occupants were home at the time but were able to escape.

The fire caused $10,000 to $15,000 in damage to the home, the Fire Department said.
