3 open seats with no candidates on Washington ballot

WASHINGTON — There are no contested races, and three open seats without candidates, in Saturday's annual town election.

Finance Committee Chairman Kent Lew will run unopposed for another three-year term. While there is another vacancy on the committee, no local resident decided to seek the post.

There are also no candidates for positions on the Planning Board or for a two-year unexpired term as auditor.

Select Board incumbent Tricia Drugmand is running unopposed for another three-year term.

Polls will be open from noon to 4 p.m. at Washington Town Hall, 8 Summit Hill Road.
