Thought for the day

CAROLINE BONNIVIER SNYDER — THE BERKSHIRE EAGLE

Good afternoon, Berkshire County.  Enjoy these last days of spring weather because summer is just around the corner.

The owner of the Berkshire Mall is one step closer to losing the property after missing another tax deadline on Wednesday.

A woman is suing a Pittsfield police officer and several others claiming that excessive and unnecessary force was used when she was arrested for shoplifting in 2016.

Mosquitos beware:  The Board of Health agreed Wednesday that the Berkshire County Mosquito Control Project can spray proactively to combat breeding.

A Pittsfield woman accused of being forceful with her dog has been summoned to court for one count of cruelty to animals.

And in Stockbridge,  a Select Board meeting got heated during a debate about changing the board's meeting schedule.
