Good afternoon, Berkshirites. It's finally feeling like summer out there.  Today is a good day to get outside, tackle some yardwork or even take a dip in one our county's many scenic lakes.

If you're taking the family to Windsor Lake in North Adams, be aware that lifeguards are no longer duty.  The city-paid positions were eliminated due to budget cuts.

A Dalton family has a new home thanks to the Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity. More than 40 residents and Berkshire officials gathered at the recently constructed home to welcome Courtney McArdle to her new neighborhood.

Abigail Rockwell, granddaughter of Norman Rockwell, was in Stockbridge on Sunday to talk about her work on a reissue of the book, "Norman Rockwell: My Adventures as an Illustrator, The Definitive Edition."

A Dalton man is recovering from injuries suffered in a Friday crash that left  seven fellow motorcyclists dead in northern New Hampshire.
