PITTSFIELD — A city man who was allegedly caught with hundreds of bags of heroin and cocaine remains free after his Superior Court arraignment on Thursday.

Ismael Osorio, 20, was arrested Feb. 12 by the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force during an afternoon raid at the Howard Johnson hotel in Williamstown, according to local authorities.

Police seized 168 grams of cocaine, 300 bags of heroin and $13,120 in cash, according to the Berkshire District Attorney's Office.

Osorio, who posted $10,000 bail after his district court arraignment in February, pleaded not guilty in Berkshire Superior Court to possession of a Class A drug, heroin and trafficking in cocaine. Judge John Agostini released the defendant on his own behalf.
