Adams: Hazard mitigation public presentation
A public presentation of the town's draft Hazard Mitigation Plan will be presented at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Town Hall in the Board of Selectmen Meeting Room.
The Mitigation Plan is designed to serve as a tool to help town officials identify hazard risks, assess the town's vulnerability to hazardous conditions, consider measures that can be taken to minimize hazardous conditions, and develop an action plan.
The public is invited to attend the presentation, review the draft plan and provide comments. Town officials and staff from the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission will be on hand to answer questions.
