Adams: Lions Club launches annual mail appeal

The Adams Lions Club has mailed its annual fundraising appeal to past charitable supporters of the club. Proceeds from the appeal provide emergency service to the sight and hearing-impaired and support local programs for young people and seniors.

The mailing includes a brochure highlighting the Lions' eyeglass recycling program.

Used eyeglasses may be dropped off at the Adams Free Library, Registry of Deeds, town clerk's office, Water Department, Senior Center, Smith Brothers-McAndrews Insurance, Cataract Laser Center, and The Chop Shop in Adams; Moulton Spectacle Shop, Tanzman, Maselli & Field, Advanced Eye Care, Walmart, and Goodwill in North Adams.

Supporters who did not receive a mailing but would like to contribute may send donations to the Adams Lions Club, P.O. Box 23, Adams, MA 01220. Make checks payable to the Adams Lions Club.
