Adams man headed to NY to face stalking charges
David F. Carmon, 58, agreed to be held locally until New York authorities can retrieve him.
Carmon is charged in Columbia County with second-degree aggravated harassment and fourth-degree stalking, according to court records. He was arrested Dec. 18 in Savoy by State Troopers with a warrant.
An exact date when Carmon will be transferred was not available, but Assistant Berkshire District Attorney Jedd Hall expected it could be within a week.
The hearing in Berkshire Superior Court was presided over by Judge John Agostini.
