Adams: Motorcycle club sets poker run

The Hoosac Valley Motorcycle Club will host its annual Nut and Bold Motorcycle Poker Run on Sunday, Aug. 18, from the HVMC Clubhouse off Alger Street.

The ride covers 100 miles of roads in Berkshire and Hampden counties and includes stops at a vintage trail bike museum, 150-foot waterfall and 165-foot dam built in 1941. Start times are 9 a.m. for those wishing to see the sights with the last riders leaving at 11 a.m.

The ride is open to the public and all types of bikes and riders are encouraged to participate. The fee is $10. Prizes will be drawn and food will be available for purchase at the end of the ride.

Rain changes the event to a car ride.
