Adams: Storyteller to portray suffragist

The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum and the Adams Suffrage Centennial Celebration Committee will welcome storyteller Judith Black portraying suffragist Lucy Stone at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Adams Commons.

Stone will share her experiences as an abolitionist and suffragist through an interactive presentation. The Suffrage Centennial Celebration Committee will also be selling hamburgers and hot dogs.

Colleen Janz, executive director of the museum, and Bill Kolis, member of the Adams Suffrage Centennial Committee, will introduce the plans for a potential statue to be built in town honoring Anthony.

This free event is for all ages.
