Adams: Voter information for state primary

Absentee ballots for the Tuesday, Sept. 4, state primary are available in the town clerk's office, 8 Park St.

Those planning to vote by absentee ballot are encouraged to fill out an application. Applications can be found on the town's website at town.adams.ma.us.

The deadline to register to vote or change party affiliation for the state primary is Wednesday, Aug. 15. The town clerk's office will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on that day.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Department of Public Works Garage, 92 North Summer St.

Residents with questions regarding the status of their voter registration or the absentee process should call the town clerk's office at 413-743-8300, ext. 176, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
