Aglet slates "No Exit" readings

SHEFFIELD — Aglet Theatre is presenting a staged reading of Jean-Paul Sartre's "No Exit" Saturday afternoon and evening at Dewey Memorial Hall, 91 Main St. (Route 7).

Doors open at 1:30 and 7 p.m. for complimentary wine and refreshments. The reading will be followed by a discussion.

Three deceased people are punished by being locked into a room together forever. They are not wholly virtuous nor wholly immoral. In the process of making each other's lives unbearable, their exchanges often reveal Sartre's biting sense of humor.

Aglet's cast consists of Lori Evans (Inez), Allison S. Galen (Estelle), Danny Osman (Garcin) and Gail Ryan (the concierge). Aglet artistic associate Thomas Gruenewald is directing.

Ticket information is available online at or by phone at 860-435-6928. Aglet does not accept credit cards.
