Attorney named to litigation society

LENOX — Attorney Janet H. Pumphrey of Lenox has been inducted as a fellow into the Litigation Counsel of America, an honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellows are selected based upon effectiveness, superior ethical reputation, and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels.In Massachusetts, only three appellate lawyers have been selected as fellows. Of all the trial and appellate fellows in Massachusetts, only four are from outside the metropolitan Boston-Worcester region.The director of the Western Massachusetts office of KP Law of Boston, Pumphrey handles civil and criminal appeals state-wide. She was recently named to the Super Lawyers list for the third year in a row.
