Berkshire Vein Center receives accreditation

PITTSFIELD — The Berkshire Vein Center at Berkshire Surgical Services of BMC has been granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for Superficial Venous Treatment and Management. The IAC accreditation was awarded in late 2018.Accreditation by IAC indicates that the Berkshire Vein Center has undergone an intensive application and review process and is found to be in compliance with the published standards, thus demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care in vein treatment and management.The Berkshire Vein Center will provide free vein screenings in both Pittsfield and Great Barrington Feb. 27. The screenings in Pittsfield take place with Dr. Eugene Curletti at BMC Medical Arts Complex, Suite 407, 777 North St., beginning at 4:15 p.m. To pre-register call 413-445-6420.The Great Barrington session will take place with Dr. George Veinoglou from 3 to 5 p.m. at 475 Main St. To pre-register call 413-644-6499.
