Binge-worthy: YouTube edition

I stumbled upon emmymadeinjapan on YouTube while looking for a recipe for Japanese Jiggly Cake and settled in to watch them all. Featuring videos of Emmy demonstrating Japanese recipes, trying foods from around the world and keeping her viewers up to date on food fads, my favorite videos are her retro recipes series. If you are fascinated by American cooking in the '50s and '60s, let Emmy tell you the truth: Just how wonderful/terrible is ketchup cake? Beef fudge? 7-Up Mayonnaise Jello Salad? If the thought is already making you nauseous, this might not be the channel for you: She samples them all.

If you like the idea of doing a Paint And Sip or a Sip and Swirl or any similar events that posit getting tipsy will help your creativity flow, but aren't willing to spend the money on the slim chance that you've secretly been Bob Ross the whole time and didn't realize it, theartsherpa is the answer for you. Simple, easy-to-follow videos with supply lists for beginner painters, you can paint along without embarrassing yourself, prepare for an event in secret to wow your friends, or just watch to relax.
