Tales of Europe 2019 returns to Chatham, N.Y., for the second year, from July 12 to 18, with a lively and provocative series of five feature-length and seven short award-winning films, made by leading European filmmakers who journey to Greenland, Morocco and Myanmar to tell their tales.
Each of these noteworthy films debuted over the last year in top international festivals such as Berlin, Cannes, Sundance and Toronto.
The Crandell has exclusive rights to show the films for the first time in the tri-state area. A special free members-only screening of six short French films will be shown at noon on Bastille Day, July 14, followed by light refreshments. Tickets (regular admission prices) available starting June 22 at the Crandell box office and online at https://crandelltheatre.org. Each of the five feature-length films will be screened twice during the weeklong event.
