Dalton CRA set to host inaugural Hall of Fame ceremony

The Dalton CRA is set to host its inaugural Hall of Fame induction ceremonies this coming weekend, and the festivities will extend over multiple days.
Things get underway on Friday, when the inaugural class will be introduced at halftime of Wahconah's football game against Pittsfield High. Kickoff for Friday is 7 p.m.
On Saturday, the Baseball in the Berkshires museum will be hosting a "Sliding Back to Home" meet and greet with members of the class, including baseball legends Turk Wendell and Jeff Reardon, along with former MLB general managers Dan and Jim Duquette.
On Sunday, the Dalton CRA will host the induction ceremony itself. That will be held at Wahconah Country Club, with the event starting at 1 p.m.
There are a limited number of tickets still available for the Sunday induction ceremony. The tickets can be purchased at the Dalton CRA starting Monday at 8 a.m. Tickets are $35 per person.
Inductees will be immortalized in a new Hall of Fame room at the W. Murray Crane Community House.
The members of the class are as follows, broken down by category.
Teams: 1983 Wahconah football team; 1986 Wahconah girls soccer team; 1987 Wahconah boys basketball team.
