Cura Cura returns to Race Brook Lodge's Down County Social Club, 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. Race Brook Lodge is located at 864 South Undermountain Road, Sheffield.
The Egremont Barn welcomes Honey Talk, 8 to 11 p.m. According to the Egremont Barn, "Honey Talk is southern rock from the north, 70s rock from today, and 90s alternative sensibilities for the millennial mainstream." Find the Barn at the Egremont Village Inn, 17 Main St., South Egremont.
SATURDAY, MARCH 7
The High Mud Comedy Festival presents Becca Blackwell, "Schmermie's Choice," 8 p.m. at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. MoCA previews, "Trans actor, performer, and writer Becca Blackwell's stand-up special/teen zine confessional is a provocative and hilarious personal tale of being adopted into a religious Midwestern family, molested, trained to be a girl, but plagued by the question, 'How do I become a man, and do I even want that?'" Tickets are $15 students, $18 in advance, $28, $44 preferred.
Chris Fanjola, Carole Montgomery and Usama Siddiquee come to ZipStohrs Comedy at the Plaza, 8 p.m., doors at 6:30 p.m., at Holiday Inn & Suites, 1 West St., Pittsfield. Tickets are $25. Tables are reserved but seating at the tables is not, get there early to better your chances of getting the best seats at your table. All guests must be 18 or older with ID.
Actress, singer and lyricist Maya Hawke visits Egremont Barn with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Jesse Harris, 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $20.
Head to the BSKE Dance Community's dance party with Felix at Whitney Center for the Arts, beginning with a super beginner crash course in salsa at 8:30 p.m., followed by an intermediate lesson at 9 p.m., and free dancing with music by DJ Red Scare at 10 p.m. Admission is $10.
Catch Lez Zeppelin at Stationery Factory, 7 to 11 p.m., 63 Flansburg Ave., Dalton. "Lez Zeppelin has gained unanimous critical acclaim as one of the most exciting live acts around, becoming the first female rock act to pay homage to Led Zeppelin and to garner rave reviews across the board." Tickets are $28-$35, or $55 for tickets with a meet-and-greet with the band.
