Mass MoCA is hosting an evening with The New Pornographers, featuring Neko Case, AC Newman, Kathryn Calder, Todd Fancey, Blaine Thurier, John Collins, Joe Seiders and Simi Stone, 8 p.m. Parsonsfield opens. Standing room only. Tickets are $45 to $65.

Make it movie night with Mahaiwe, and catch the 1962 thriller "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?," 7 p.m., 14 Castle St., Great Barrington. Seats are $8.

Does your date love to laugh? Take them to Berkshire Theatre Group's Comedy Garage featuring Jared Goldstein. The Garage is located at Colonial Theatre, 111 South St., Pittsfield. Tickets are only $5.

It's Swing Night at Dewey Hall, with music by The Lucky 5, 8:30 p.m. Head over early for a dance lesson with Jason Fenton at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $20.

Egremont Barn welcomes Cold Chocolate for a show, 8 to 11 p.m. According to Egremont Barn, "Cold Chocolate is a genre-bending Americana band that fuses folk, funk, and bluegrass to create a unique sound all their own ... Punctuated by tight harmonies and skillful musicianship, and with a focus on songwriting, Cold Chocolate has quickly gained recognition for their original music and high-energy shows." Tickets are $10.

Catch Sherry Vine at Club Helsinki Hudson, 7 p.m. Club Helsinki preview: "International drag darling and brand new Los Angeleno, Sherry Vine, presents Hollywood & Vine — an all new, all live, all hilarious show!
