Make datenight movie night with a screening of the 2010 film "True Grit," starring Hailee Steinfeld and Jeff Bridges, 7 p.m. at Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, 14 Castle St., Great Barrington. Tickets are $8.


Down County Social Club hosts Jonny G, 8 to 11 p.m. at Race Brook Lodge, 864 South Undermountain Road, Sheffield. Entry is a $10 donation for the artists.

Synergia Dance Project presents Dark Blue Sea: "a cinematic dance experience set to live music by Dark Honey, Girl Blue and The Sea The Sea with stunning narratives by Chromoscope Pictures," 8 p.m., at Club Helsinki Hudson, 405 Colubmia St., Hudson, N.Y. According to Club Helsinki, "Combining the abstraction of dance with the raw power of live music and stunning multimedia visuals, Synergia offers its viewers the opportunity to experience and explore loss in a new, completely unique way." Tickets are $29.50.

If you're looking for live music, head to the Egremont Barn for a show by folk singer/songwriter Emily Mure with opener Matt Sucich, 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $15. Find the Egremont Barn at the Egremont Village Inn, 17 Main St., South Egremont.

Don't miss the monthly dance party with DJ BFG at Shire Breu-Hous, 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., 63 Flansburg Ave., Dalton. There's a $5 suggested donation. This is a 21 and older event.

Editor's Pick: Stationery Factory welcomes Back In Black - The True AC/DC Experience, 7:30 to 11 p.m., 63 Flansburg Ave., Dalton. According to Stationery Factory, "What separates Back In Black from other tributes is that they have an array of B tracks on the list, songs such as, "It's A Long Way To The Top," "Overdose" and "Down Payment Blues," the list goes on." Tickets are $15-$25.


Berkshire Theatre Group hosts a Fleetwood Mac tribute concert with Tusk, 8 p.m., with preshow music by Jack Waldheim at the Garage at Colonial Theatre, 6:30 p.m. Berkshire Theatre Group previews: "No wigs, no backing tracks, no gimmicks, just five seasoned musicians recreating the music of Fleetwood Mac with note for note renditions that no other Fleetwood Mac tribute on the touring scene today can duplicate." Tickets are $35 and up. The Colonial Theatre is located at 111 South St., Pittsfield.

Catch Uncorked Wine & Beer Lounge's monthly comedy show, featuring Mo Green, Eion Falance, Marcus Meehan and Lauren Cahillane, hosted by Jason Marby, 8 p.m., 137 North St., Pittsfield. This is a 21 and older show! Entry is a $5 suggested donation.
