Datenight Ideas: Plenty of live music this week, April 11-14

Need a little help getting through the end of that work week? Ashton Womack headlines tonight at Berkshire Theatre Company's Comedy Garage at the Colonial Theatre. And at $5 a ticket you can't go wrong. Berkshire Theatre Group reminds us Womack was selected as a New Face of Comedy in the 2018 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, the largest international comedy festival in the world. Joining Womack as the opening act is Artie Rob, 7:30 p.m., 111 South St., Pittsfield. Remember, if you're thirsty after the show, bring your ticket to Methuselah Bar and Lounge for a $5 beverage. FYI: Tonight's Comedy Garage is not the only chance you'll have to laugh at the Colonial this week. You know you don't want to miss Pittsfield Firefighters' free Night of Comedy, featuring Dave Andrews, Mike Donovan and Jay Sutay, 8 p.m. Saturday.

Jenna Nicholls returns to the Barn at the Egremont Village Inn, 8 to 11 p.m., with opening act Brendan O'Shea. Tickets are $15. The Barn says, "Whether she's crooning a jazz standard, belting out a New Orleans style dirge or plucking her 1920s style original ballads on her ukulele, she's giving a vintage genre a new spin with her own lush nostalgic style and melodic sensibility." Find the Barn at 17 Main St., South Egremont.

Movie nights make great date nights. Head to PS21 as they kick off their Agnes Varda film festival with a screening of "Cleo from 5 to 7," 7 p.m. Tickets are $12. Check out the full festival lineup at
