DPI gift card store reaches $20k in sales

PITTSFIELD — Downtown Pittsfield Inc.'s online gift store, which launched March 24, has garnered $20,000 in sales through the sale of 431 gift cards. The goal of the online store is to use gift card sales to help bolster businesses reeling from statewide closures and restrictions. The public can still purchase gift cards in the amount of $25, $50 or $100 to 56 local restaurants, retailers, and cultural organizations through the online gift card store. The program's participants can be found at downtownpittsfield.com.
