Enjoy an evening of bluegrass by Grant Gordy and the Brooklyn Acoustic Allstars, at Race Brook Lodge, 7 to 11 p.m., 864 South Undermountain Road, Sheffield. Race Brook previews: "The BAAS will present a program of songs and tunes from the canon of American folk music, as well as new compositions which demonstrate their skills as daring composers, jazz-steeped improvisers and dynamic ensemble players." Don't miss the 8th Annual Dead of Winter Jam at the Colonial Theatre, 111 South St., Pittsfield, 8 to 11 p.m. Hosted by Rev Tor's Steal Your Peach Band with preshow entertainment by The Picky Bastards and guest performances by Tom Corrigan, Mike Wood of Rebel Alliance, Mark Kurber of Dead Collective and Rob Sanzone and Chris Merenda. Get up on your feet! Jacob's Pillow is hosting a Pillow Party, with a Brazilian dance lesson from SambaViva, and live music by Bossa Triba playing the Brazilian music rhythms of Bossa Nova, Samba, Batucada, Baiao and Pagode, and Berkshire Bateria. Dance it up from 8 to 11 p.m. at Jacob's Pillow's Perles Family Studio, 358 George Carter Road, Becket. Tickets are $15.


Looking to say goodbye to the weekend with some live music? Tourists hosts Michael Nau for a limited concert, 9 to 10:30 p.m., 915 State Road, North Adams. Tickets are $15, available on eventbrite.


Get over that midweek hump with some live music by Rachael & Vilray at Club Helsinki. "With simple arrangements and only a guitar for accompaniment, they perform original works and revive forgotten gems of the jazz big bands and Western swing ensembles.
