Canna Provisions gets OK to move planned Holyoke site

Posted

LEE — Canna Provisions, which opened an adult-use recreational marijuana shop on Housatonic Street in Lee last month, on Thursday received permission from the state's Cannabis Control Commission to move the location of a proposed second shop in Holyoke to a different site within the same city. The new site at 380 Dwight St. is located across a shared parking lot from the originally proposed site, according to Canna Provisions' Chief Operating Officer Erik Williams. Canna has already executed a host community agreement with the city of Holyoke that will allow the shop to operate there, according to the Cannabis Control Commission. Williams expects the new store to be open by Nov. 1.
