Feigenbaum Foundation pledges $2.5M to Berkshire Museum

PITTSFIELD — The Feigenbaum Foundation has pledged $2.5 million in support of the Berkshire Museum's New Vision Campaign. a $10 million campaign that is part of a larger $60 million venture that is intended to reinvent the museum's facilities. It is the largest single gift that the Berkshire Museum has received since its founding in 1903.The goal for the New Vision campaign is $10 million.The Feigenbaum Foundation's pledge is the lead gift. Added to other gifts and pledges, the campaign, announced publicly on July 12, has raised $5.4 million so far.The Feigenbaum Foundation has long been a significant supporter of the Berkshire Museum. It supplied the funding for the Feigenbaum Hall of Innovation, a 3,000-square foot exhibition space exploring innovations in science, technology, business, politics, culture, and the arts that opened in March 2008.
