Great Barrington: Dancers to present 'Moving Life Stories'

Posted

Berkshire Pulse, the dance and performing arts education center in downtown Housatonic, will present two performances of the Moving Life Stories Project at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in the auditorium at Kimball Farms, 235 Walker St., Lenox, and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16, at St. James Place, 352 Main St.

These performances are the culmination of an intergenerational collaboration where senior residents of Kimball Farms worked together with teen dancers in Pulse's Young Choreographers Initiative to create pieces that combine poetry, prose and dance to tell the seniors' life stories.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $10-$20. RSVP to berkshire.pulse@gmail.com.
