Hancock Shaker Village appoints new trustee


PITTSFIELD — Kenneth L. Pendery Jr. has been appointed to Hancock Shaker Village's board of trustees. Pendery has been a key leader of First Watch Restaurants, headquartered in University Park, Fla., for over 30 years. As executive chairman of the board, he leads the management team and collaborates with the board of directors to provide strategic leadership, establishing long-term goals, operational strategies, and actionable plans and policies for continued growth and success.Ken and his wife Jenny became acquainted with many cultural attractions including Hancock Shaker Village during visits to Williams College, where both their sons completed undergraduate work. Pendery was familiar with Shaker history from his years living in Kentucky and southern Ohio. The Penderys enjoy volunteering in the non-profit sector.
