Looking for a family-friendly hike that isn't set deep in the woods? The Glen Meadow Loop at the Greylock Glen in Adams is a 1.5-mile loop trail that offers picturesque views and is perfect for all ages and skill levels. This gravel path travels around the center of the Greylock Glen, at the base of Mount Greylock, passing by several small ponds, and through fields and wooded areas. Remnants of the abandoned ski resort that once called this area home can be seen from the path. The trail is wide enough for comfortable social distancing, and is also dog friendly (just remember to keep Fido on a leash.). There's also a gazebo and plenty of space for a picnic. For the more adventurous, there's a trail leading to the nearby Peck's Falls, as well as several other hiking trails.

Open from dawn to dusk.

Directions: From West Road in Adams: Turn onto Gould Road. After .03 miles, turn left to stay on Gould Road. Park in the parking area or continue on Gould Road to the parking area for the Bellows South trailhead.
