HINSDALE — All 24 articles passed — nearly all unanimously — at Wednesday's annual town meeting, according to Town Clerk Dawn Frissell.

Just over 5 percent of registered voters showed up at the meeting, which Frissell said was relatively uneventful.

The town will spend $35,000 to purchase and maintain Plunkett Lake Beach, the Lion's Club's waterfront property. The article required a two-thirds vote, but passed unanimously.

Voters also agreed in whole to spend $100,000 on the first phase of a two-year project to cover a former landfill at the town's transfer station. The entire project is expected to cost $550,000.

The town also spent $50,000 from capital stabilization on a new police cruiser and $30,000 from free cash to replace the Town Hall's heating and cooling system.
