The Western Massachusetts Life Sciences Forum will take place today at the Kittredge Center for Business and Workforce Development at Holyoke Community College. Sponsored by the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, the event begins at 2 p.m.

Information about Massachusetts Life Sciences Center programs and how to access those resources will be discussed.

The speakers will include Susan Windham-Bannister, the president and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center; state Rep. Michael Kane, D-Holyoke; state Rep. Scibak, D-South Hadley; Holyoke Community College President William Messner; and Steven Richter, the president and scientific director of Microtest Labs in Agawam.

Jeff Saut, the chief investment strategist and managing director of equity research for Raymond James & Associates, will be conducting a presentation on Wednesday at the Berkshire Museum. The event, which is being hosted by Raymond James & Associates' Pittsfield office, takes place between 6 and 7 p.m. Admission is free.

In his current role, Saut provides marketing commentary to Raymond James financial advisors and their clients, and appears frequently on PBS, CNBC, Bloomberg TV, USA Networks, Fox TV, National Public Radio and several local radio and television outlets.
