Homicide in Boston high-rise

Monday, September 29
BOSTON (AP) — Boston police say a man shot and killed his wife, then called 911 before turning the gun on himself in their high-rise downtown apartment.

Police say a man called authorities from the building near Massachusetts General Hospital just after 9 p.m. yesterday to say he'd killed his wife and would shoot himself if police entered his apartment.

Commissioner Ed Davis told WBZ-AM today that when police entered the apartment just after midnight they found two bodies, each with a gunshot wound.

Police identified the couple as 61-year-old Christian Mogensen and his wife, 60-year-old Sharon Glassman.
