Recipe for success:
Since 2012, Brava has been a staple in Lenox as a place to stop before a summer performance at Tanglewood or for late-night drinks and dining. Located in the heart of downtown, this cozy spot offers a limited selection of bar seating, tightly snug two-tops and four-tops, as well as some seating by the window. Brava is a great option in Lenox for a date night or a small gathering of friends. No matter if you're local or visiting for the summer, stepping into Brava feels like your everyday neighborhood bar with Spanish influence and high-quality food to match.

What we can't get enough of: The menu at Brava offers a mix of traditional Spanish tapas, high-quality pub food and hand-crafted pizzas. On my recent visit, I had Pimientos (shishito peppers and sea salt, $11), Patatas Bravas in a sweet-and-spicy sauce ($13), and marinated white anchovies ($4). For beer, I chose the St. Bretta Citrus Saison: a Saison/Farmhouse Ale-style beer by Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project in Denver, but the impressive beer and wine list offers pages of options to choose from. Other tapas classics, such as Gambas Al Ajillo (shrimp with garlic) and marinated olives are always found on the menu, as well as pub food favorites, such as grilled lamb chops with mint, chicken wings and more. Here is a hotspot tip: This is one of the few places that serves food late in Lenox — until midnight every evening. It's the perfect spot for late-night eats! Make sure to give yourself plenty of time, as Brava does not take reservations, and when there are performances at Tanglewood there may be a wait.
