Williamstown Theatre Festival's The Hot Spot series invites you to grab a drink, laugh and rock out with top Festival talent. Join original activist band BETTY, fronted by Alyson Palmer and sisters Elizabeth and Amy Ziff, tonight at 8:30. "Known for their clever lyrics and infectious energy, the band brings their signature sound to The Hot Spot for a one-night only concert." Tickets are $30 each. Noble Dust heads to the the Egremont Barn at the Egremont Village Inn, 8 to 11 p.m. According to the band's website, "Their thoughtfully-crafted backdrops, ethereal vocal harmonies and intricate horn melodies culminate to create a sound that is at the same time otherworldly and familiar." Tickets are $10. The Egremont Village Inn is located at 17 Main St., South Egremont.

FRIDAY

Northampton natives And The Kids open for Blondie at MASS MoCA's Joe's Field, 1040 MASS MoCA Way, North Adams, at 7 p.m. Day-of ticket are $65.

Falcon Ridge Folk Festival brings music, dance and children's entertainment to Dodd's Farm, 44 County Road 7D, Hillsdale, N.Y. The emerging artist showcase, beginning at noon, features music by Jude Roberts, Andrew Delaney, Quarter Horse, Oliver the Crow, Amy Kucharik, Emerald Rae and many more. Join The Kennedy's on stage, 6:30 p.m., followed by sets by Greg Greenway, Tempest and Kim and Reggie Harris and Magpie. Single-day tickets are $50, children under 12 free. SATURDAY

Head to Race Book Lodge for a barbecue lunch, pool party and concert by House of Waters, on the Pine Grove Porch, 2 to 4 p.m. The doors and pool open at noon. Tickets are $22. Race Brook Lodge, 864 South Undermountain Road, Sheffield.

Grab a date and be ready to laugh at the 4th Annual Berkshire Comedy Festival, 8 p.m., at Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, 14 Castle St., Great Barrington. Hosted by Paul Anthony, the festival also features Jodi Weiner, Dave Cooperman, and Vinne Mark. Tickets are $25-$40, available at mahaiwe.org.

Brooklyn, N.Y.-based folk-noir duo Charming Disaster to Mission Bar + Tapas, 8 to 10 p.m. "Charming Disaster's storytelling songs explore various kinds of trouble two people can get into, combining vocal harmonies and clever lyrics with ukulele, guitar, and virtuosic foot percussion to explore dark narratives and characters with a playful sensibility." Mission Bar + Tapas is located at 438 North Street, Pittsfield.

Beer lovers, don't miss a unique beer tasting with Ontario's Collective Arts Brewing, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Norman Rockwell Museum. Collective Arts Brewing commissions artists to adorn their cans and curates music to accompany each craft beer. Cofounder Bob Russell, Collective Arts Brewings will be on hand to discuss the relationship between artists and advertising, and the work that has given their products a unique twist.
