Lanesborough: Gregory Spatz book reading

The Lanesborough Public Library will host selected readings, a book signing, and maybe even some fiddle playing with Gregory Spatz, author of "What Could Be Saved: Bookmatched Novellas and Stories," at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22.

Spatz, originally from Lanesborough, is the author of the novels "Inukshuk," "Fiddler's Dream" and "No One But Us," and story collections. His stories have appeared in many publications, including The New Yorker and New England Review.

Spatz also plays the fiddle in the twice Juno-nominated bluegrass band John Reischman and the Jaybirds.

Light refreshments will follow.
