PITTSFIELD — A Lanesborough man is free on recognizance following his arraignment last week on child pornography charges.

Jeffrey A. King, 58, was arraigned Friday on three charges stemming from allegations dating back to December 2018.

Details of those allegations were not immediately available as records in the case have been impounded and are under seal.

King pleaded not guilty in Central Berkshire District Court to one count each of possession of child pornography, posing or exhibiting a child in the nude and photographing an unsuspecting nude person.

While out on recognizance, King must have no contact with the alleged victim and their mother, and stay at least 50 feet away from a specific address in Lanesborough.

King is due back in court on Feb. 11 for a pretrial hearing.
