Lenox: Concert of Russian and Gypsy romances

Baritone Alexander Prokhorov-Tolstoy will perform "Dark Eyes," a candlelit evening of Russian and Gypsy romances, at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, 104 Walker St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Prokhorov-Tolstoy is a connoisseur and collector of old well-known as well as rare and forgotten Russian and Gypsy romances that he performs with his own improvised piano accompaniment.

Tickets cost $20 with advance reservation, $25 at the door.
