Letter: Ban fear, not people

Posted

To the editor:

I feel that Donald Trump has the wrong ideas about how to resolve the issues of struggling people. Why does he want to build that wall? Roger Waters of Pink Floyd ("The Wall") predicted this, that "safety" would be pitted against beauty and love.

We live in an age of fear. Somehow we must be strong and care more for each other. Banish fear, not people. Live courageously as much as we can, know our own values, and live by them. Continue to try hard each day.
