To the editor:

Tony Dobrowolski gives us all hope in the words of Sheriff Tom Bowler:

"You always have to remember that even though we have the worst of the worst inmates, we also have some people in here who made some bad choices and they are relatively good people. An inmate's ability to communicate with friends and family while incarcerated is a major part of the rehabilitation process. The reintegration process provides them with the dolls to be successful in the community." ("Berkshire County Jail's new tech allows inmates to have virtual visits amid coronavirus," June 18.)

We are blessed to have Sheriff Tom Bowler caring for all of our inmates.
