Letter: Debate prompted visit to impressive museum
To the editor:
This letter has to do with the Berkshire Museum, although it is not directly related to the current controversy which I have been reading about in this paper.
The truth is that as a result of all the publicity, I decided to visit the museum, in particular, the guitar exhibit. It had been a long time since I entered the museum's doors.
When I walked up the stairs and into the exhibit, I was stunned! I hadn't expected to see such a large and brilliant collection of instruments, and definitely had no idea there were so many different kinds of guitars. The exhibit is a must-see and there are museum folks around the exhibit if you have questions — though the labeling is excellent as well.
I wonder if others like me woke up and visited the museum because of the controversy?
