Letter: Jack Ohman cartoon says it all


To the editor:

There is an old saying: "A picture is worth a thousand words." I am old and old-school. I subscribe to The Berkshire Eagle and The New York Times. Also, I will visit many other web sites to get varying insight into recent events. I prefer reading detailed reporting of events and also reading the detailed analysis from many sources.

However, the three panel "Cartoonist Take" illustration on the editorial page of the Friday Eagle put everything in perspective. In the first panel, Trump is slapping Iran President Rouhani. In the second panel, Rouhani is slapping Trump. In the third panel, a general at the Pentagon has a document in front of him titled "Trump Decision Making" and the general is slapping his hand to his forehead.

A single picture is worth a thousand words.
