Library group thanks voters of Stockbridge

To the editor:

On behalf of the board of the Stockbridge Library Association, I write to express my gratitude to everyone at the May 16 annual town meeting who supported the funding of operations and the renovation at the Stockbridge Library Museum & Archives, the heart and soul of intellectual life in town. Special thanks go to Buck Smith, Jack Spencer, and Cris Raymond, for speaking up so ardently in favor of articles supporting what we do for all our citizens.

I encourage everyone to come to our renovated building to discover the resources and programs we offer. Go to stockbridgelibrary.org for details. You will see that, every day, we are earning your vote of confidence. To everyone in town, no matter how you voted, I say: "Welcome back!"

Stewart Edelstein Stockbridge, The writer is president, Stockbridge Library Association.
